This place is SO slow!!!! I asked for a sprite and a diet coke and it (not kidding) 15 minutes to bring to us. There probally was at lest 10 people there on a Saturday afternoon…09 Feb, 2010Food was good. This is a locally owned restaurant. We were not one of the owners regulars so we were ignored. Way too much money to be ignored!
Thank You, Sir, May I Have Another?. Oh, where to start? Lunch, dinner, brunch, kick-ass cocktails…you name it, this place has it! IThe P&P is my favorite spot in the East Bay to suit my every dining whim. The flatbread pizzas are perfect, the whole menu is really diverse, the wine list is so totally reasonable you’ll pinch yourself, and the service is always promt and attentive without being stuffy or fussy. No attitude here, folks, just a terrific, seasonal menu and fun atmosphere where you’ll want to clean your plate but won’t have to clean out your wallet. Chef Rodney Worth is so talented and so obviously loves what he does and his enthusiasm trickles down through his fantastic staff to the diners. 5 out of 5 stars and a true gem of the East Bay; there aren’t many places that have figured out this formula for success.
Fantastic Pears for Pairs. This restaurant is a superb dining experience. The food is fantastic with wonderful combinations and delicious drinks to go with it. The Peartini is incredible and having just one isn’t possible. The dinners are warm, wonderful, and tempt all the taste buds. But save room for dessert and order the Pear Tart! For lunch you cannot beat the creative and delectable pizzas. And the smoked chicken salad sandwich is the best I’ve had. The chef, Rodney Worth, visits the table and shares his contagious laugh and spirit. This familiar and friendly atmosphere is further protrayed by the professional and attentive staff. Visit this restaurant and you will always come back!
