I was debating going in,but I’m always up for new things to try. The menu was small, but had the standard Mexican favorites on it. The chips were warm and they had a salsa bar with 5 different salsa choices. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and an enchilada trio, not too bad. The price for two people was what I was expecting it to be. Service was good and the food came out in a decent time, didn’t taste like it was microwaved at all. The way I rate a place is wheather I’d go back or not, and,I’d go back.
I have finally found MY go to Mexican reastauant. Considering I moved here from Tucson almost 5 years ago and been looking ever since that is saying a lot. I have had the green chili plate, chili Colorado burrito and the carnitas yucatecs (my fav) and they were all fantastic. Great service, my ice tea was always full and the best chips and salsa bar I’ve seen in a while…YUM
Crappy hole in the wall.. You know its outdated, but you know where you are and everyother place on the street is going to be 3x more. sooo i slip in for a taco and a beer. if its not happy hour, just walk out. the waitress are floooozes to say the least, the beer selection is limited to non existant. I had the torta, its good. $1 tacos sounded better. When options are limited its an acceptable place to go.
Great authentic family owned restaurant. Chips and salsa just like grandmas. Sunday brunch is always a tummy stuffer. Amazing overall atmosphere and family friendly.
Great little mexican restaurant. For the longest time I would pass this restaurant wondering what it was all about. So me and my boyfriend decided to drop in for an appetizer and a margarita. The appetizer plate (the largest one they have) is excellent and well worth the money. Not like other mexican restaurants. Their margaritas are so good and they have happy hour on the weekends too. The bar is small, but cozy, with t.v.’s all around. The service is great and they are very friendly here. I would definitely recommend it.
Not recommended. Slow service – poor servers. food is good but menu isn’t very diverse. asked to speak with a manager but he or she never came. charged wrong and then got attitude from server.
