Great Mediterranean. This place is good. It is so good it gets crowded at lunch time. But it is so good, I get it to go if there aren’t seats.We have not had anything we didn’t like. There is quite a bit on the menu, the prices are average, but for the flavor, well worth it.If you think you don’t like Mediterranean, you must try this place. If you like Mediterranean, you will love Olive Pit.The gyros, lamb, kabobs, hummus – all very good.Also try their roasted potatoes, rice, baklava. The one thing I have had that I am not a big fan of is there Tabouleh – I like a little mint and parsley with bulgar, but this is a little bulgar with a lot of parsley.But try it! I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Absolutely delicious! 6 of us went in, all tried something different & not a dissatisfied connoisseur among the group. I would say $$ for price. We will be back!
Amazingly good !!!. Looking for good quality, great price, descent portions, wide spread to choose from, friendly staff.. then this is a great place to be.. Love their wraps (Salmon, Falafel etc…). Even their sides are awesome.This is a great place for lunch. Everything they serve is very very fresh… must go place if you are around the Brea, Placentia area…Definitely recommend this place..
If you like mediteranean your gonna love this place! Try the lamb chops, we’ve tried almost everything, it’s delish! Secret menu item, fried asparagus. Go olive pit!
BEST Mediterranean. For first-timers, I would recommend building a wrap. It simplifies the menu and allows you to try a protein and a small bite. I LOVE the Lamb Gyro as well as the Rare Ahi Tuna. The Roasted Artichoke Hearts are tender and delicious. The Mediterranean Salad has the most delicate and creamy feta. The Dolmades are topped with this mild lemon sauce that plays well off of the turkey and rice. The Baklava is wrapped instead of sliced into triangles which makes the sweet treat less messy than usual to eat — SO delicious!!!The only two menu items I would not get again were the Hummus which was too acidic for my taste and the Tiramisu because I prefer the traditional Italian version with lady fingers to the shredded phyllo dough used in this version. I love Greek and Mediterranean food and Olive Pit is by far the BEST there is to offer in the O.C. I am looking forward to trying the other proteins on future visits! There are so many options on the menu… I am excited about trying more 🙂
L O V E. My daughter brought me to Olive Pit today for my birthday. She told me it is her new favorite lunch spot. I read the reviews on line, and they helped me make my decision. I got the wrap with lamb sausage (yum) and with it a small bite of delicious Hummus. Olive Pit is clean, the workers are helpful and courteous. It serves very generous portions, and the prices are resonable. You must try it.
