Umm Food was good can’t say anything but yummy. Menu items run the gamut on from curry to pasties. The peas seem a little like they once spent some time in a plastic package labeled Birds Eye. Tried few dishes and liked them all.
Authentic… fabulous… Friendly… Love the food and the atmosphere.
Best clam chowder of my life. Had to wait outside for a really long time, and the service was a little slow, but we had over a dozen people, so it was kinda expected.
Gross. This place deffinitly lives up to the bad rap brittish food gets.
English Food. I think this is the best English food in Southern California. Great atmosphere. Fish and chips reminded me of London.
Fish friday long wait but….. Went there with 9 year old, long wait, may have lost our order, BUT, when I called this morning, the manager Jackie profusely apologized, and is sending me a gift card. Good thing, cuz I wouldn’t have gone back after all that. The food was good, but I wish I would have ordered the Prime Rib. It looked so great.
Ahoy Matey. The Old Ship is pretty good for English food which in and of itself isn’t an overly celebrated cuisine. The interior is intimate and dimly lit with low ceilings and plaster walls. Dark wood beams add to the ‘charm’ I have never been to an actual British Pub but I would imagine that this is what one would be like. There is a small bar and tables are a little close together. Menu items run the gamut on from curry to pasties. The peas seem a little like they once spent some time in a plastic package labeled Birds Eye. The gravy is a little too salty. The food is a little pricey but if you are looking for something to mix up your usual dining experience you could do worse.
