Hands Down Favorite. When my wife and I were dating, we would make a list of every restaurant in each genre and go out each weekend on an adventure to try every one. I know, shotgun approach, but it was the most memorable and enjoyable times of our lives.After many disappointments at many other Thai restaurants, we finally ended up at Thai Original BBQ. We already had a set menu so we knew what to order, which allowed us a direct 1-to-1 comparison with all other Thai restaurants.We were FLOORED!! We go back at least once a month and make it a point to try at least one new dish. We have never been disappointed. I echo the sentiments of all other reviewers here. The meats are sweet and succulent and falling off the bone. The sauces and zesty and tangy as you might expect!Our favs: Beef Satay, Chicken Yellow Curry, Pork Spare Ribs, Coconut milk soup, Shrimp fried rice.
The prices are great. The portions are massive. And the food is better tasting than any of the other thai restaurants I’ve tried in orange county. The service is super fast for sit down and if you place an order for pickup it’s ready within 10 mins. Love, love love this restaurant.
This is the only Thai restaraunt that I’ve tried that I really like. They give huge portions & I highly recommend the chicken or beef sate meal. You can ask them for half & half chicken & beef. Comes with a mound of shrimp fried rice, about 8 skewers of meat, and a side of peanut sauce & pickled cucumbers. I’ve never been able to finish this meal as the portions are a lot. The drunken noodles, coconut soup, and fried bananas are also yummy. Fairly quick service too.

This is one of the best thai restaurants in orange county! i would highly reccommend the pork ribs with the fried rice, the pad thai, and the bbq chicken. the combination or shrimp fried rice is also very good and so are the thai iced teas.
