Matador stand-down. Don’t waste your time with the Matador standoff because this place is a total stand-down. Nothing to write home to mom about. My thoughts are that if you are going to hype up a meal and/or beverage it better be pretty darn good. Not the case here.

I love it!. I went to Matador Cantina for the first time last night, and my date couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. The leather booths are really comfortable and the bar/restautant vibe with candle lit walls made for a great hangout/dining experience. I love Mexican food so I was really impressed with how fresh and authentic the food was! The tres enchiadas were like nothing I’ve ever had and the three differenet sauces were each individually delicious. He had a chili relleno that was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, amazing!! The chocolate enchiladas, crepes with banana and a drizzled chocolate topping, were another new experience that I loved. ps. The jalepeno martinis are a must try
