Hmmmm. I’m not wild about these guys. They weren’t bad, but they def. weren’t worth driving out to. Pulled pork was more steamed than smoked (no smoke ring at all!). Chicken thigh was moist, okay, but no POP! Cole slaw above average and not too sweet. Hush puppies average. Counter-girl has astonishingly blue eyes and is quite cute. Overall – probably not coming back.
This place was totally random for me and my significant other. We were craving barbecue and we love finding new hot spots for food. We really haven’t found a good BBQ place but this one is IT!! We both got the pulled pork sandwich. It was super delish! The sauce was perfectly applied to the sandwich, not to much or to little. This place is great. Try it out!;)
Blue Rock (BBQ). Blue Rock BBQ is quick, fairly cheap, and easy to get into. Crowds are pretty light, and the food is very good. The decorations are pretty basic, but nice. Overall, it’s a good restaurant, but it lacks the charm and taste you can get at Sam’s.Rating: 7/10 tasteperiod.blogspot.com
YUM!. This place was so good…we just happened upon it. I had the tri-tip sandwich and would definitely go back for more. The pulled pork sandwich was yummy too, a little on the small side. I loved the sweet baked beans. The loaded baked potatoes looked so delicious, someone sitting next to us had one. HAVE to go back!
Outstanding Food!. Blue Rock has the best BBQ and sides that I have ever had anywhere, and I’ve enjoyed barbecue all over the U.S. The decor is modern and unique, and the people who work there are friendly and efficient. This is a must stop.
I ordered the beef sirloin sandwich. It was really good. Juicy and tender. The bread was pretty good too. Price was good for the quality.
I had the pulled pork sandwich and the potato salad they were both very good. Prices are reasonable.
