Pasta Pomodoro (Italian). Pasta Pomodoro is a modern-style Italian restaurant with a strange fancy/casual vibe. On one hand, you have booths and white table cloths, and on the other is a relaxing fireplace, reasonably priced meals, and the restaurant’s complete blind eye towards noise pollution. The food sounds much better than it tastes. The Lobster Linguini was overcooked with very little lobster and had the absence of the Ricotta cheese. The pear salad seemed to be missing the main ingredient – pears. The lamb shank was the only good dish, though it appeared to be slightly overcooked. Last but not least, the Banana’s Foster was terrible. The bananas weren’t fried, and they were overripe. Also, the gelato was full of ice crystals. Pasta Pomodoro is very disappointing, so go there at your own risk.Rating: 4/10 tasteperiod.blogspot.com
