  TASTELESS AND CHEAP. Who’s my papa? well it’s definitely not john!i really wanted to like papa john’s so much as i have heard so much as of late about being the #1 pizza chain. well i can tell you i strongly disagree. turns out they are a huge hit due to online ordering and delivery and we must all be lazy and really into technology because papa john’s made 1 billion dollars a year in online sales. well i can see how they became number 1. i can definitely tell you it’s not because of the pizza. the prices are great and ordering and delivery are great but that’s where the great ends here. i ordered online and found it was easy and they offered many different coupons to fit any kind of order. we got one large specialty pizza and a large 2 topping pizza for only $24. i entered in all the info and picked the hawaiian bbq chicken pizza and added olives, mushrooms, lite cheese and whole wheat original crust extra crispy. for the other sausage and pepperoni with thin crust. within 2 minutes i got an email confirmation that it would be ready in 15-30 minutes and would cost under $30. 2 large pizzas for under $30? WOW, to good to be true!within 30 minutes we had pizza! the bbq pizza had so much cheese. good thing i asked for lite cheese. and as for the whole wheat crust i am really not a fan. each bit reminded me of a thick and dense loaf of wheat bread from a bakery. add to this it wasn’t cooked all the way made it an awful pizza. come on! this is what you call extra crispy? i honestly felt like they just threw some sauce, half baked cheese and topping on a piece of wheat bread from the store. i have had whole wheat crusts but this was the worst ever and digornio takes the prize here. i didn’t want all that cheese but they gave it to me but i guess they make up for it while skimping on the other ingredients.the thin crust pizza looked good but was cardboard thin and tasted like it and was worse than any dominoes pizza i had ever had. and it was so hard and crispy. this is regular bake? who do they have cooking these pizza’s? the cheese on this on was regular but had less than the lite pizza but seemed perfect for any human being. this wasn’t even my pizza but i had to try this one to compare crusts and what not.and extra pizza sauce is 50 cents which is no big deal but 2 or 3 dips and it’s gone, so small! :(if your a fan of salami or linguisa forget about it because they don’t have iti doubt i will be going back to this place anytime soon as there are only about 17 better choices for good pizza not dry and tasteless nearby.
