Before you decide to order, go into the bathroom and listen….. They play animal noises…that should have sent me running…the food is sub par at best. Prices are good, service is good but the quality is not.
NOW THIS IS COMFORT FOOD. I was finally able to try red tractor after many years of just plain putting them off.i was craving a meatloaf sandwich and there are really not to many places to find them these days. at $6.75 it’s a great deal and you get a choice of coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy or farmhouse fries. i went with the garlic fries which really went well with my huge meatloaf sandwich. the meat itself was almost 2 inches thick and served with lettuce, tomato and mayo and thick crunchy texas toast. now i grew up on cold meatloaf sandwiched on white bread with miracle whip and the sauce from the meatloaf but this one from the red tractor was one of the best i have had in years. like i said i like a red sauce or bbq sauce with my meatloaf so i dipped the sandwich in ketchup on the last half at it was pure goodness.i will definitely return to the red tractor because they have a great menu if you are all about comfort food and my belly needs all the comfort it can fit. it’s going to be hard to pass up that meatloaf sandwich i i cant wait to try their southern fried chicken, chicken fried steak, some of the best mac and cheese around and breakfast served all day.
