Good, but …. Food was good but not remarkable. It beats going to chain places, though the building looks like a converted chain restaurant. There are more interesting and better places in East Bay area. I gave it a ‘Like’ nonetheless.
The food and service at this restaurant is fantastic. When I asked for a recommendation the waitress asked what types of food I liked, gave me samples, and made suggestions for how to flavor the dish. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and the menu was diverse. The interior of the restaurant was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Externally the curb appeal is a little lacking but once inside the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
This is an old fashioned restaurant. The place is clean and service good. I had the Benedict, the eggs were done right, placed on a big slice of grilled ham on top of correctly done English muffins. The hollandaise was yellow, that’s all. My hash brows actually came browned as requested which is very hard for places to accomplish for some reason. Been here, done that.
Copper skillet is a cozy, warm friendly place where you can get a homey comforting meal.
