I have found that the yogurt at Frugo’s is good, with nice texture, yet a low variety of flavors. The toppings on the other hand have a wide variety, everything from peanut butter to moshi balls. The best flavor that I have found is pink lemonade which is like an Italian ice. The staff is friendly and the line is always a good size. The price, on the other hand, is somewhat high being $0.39 per ounce. It is a fun, self-serve, kind of place. I recommend it for someone who has some extra money to use for some dessert.

Awesome. I ate at frugos last night and loved it, then on the advice of another review tried rockies tonight.. i’m still trying to put it together how anyone could prefer rockies over frugos. Frugos is bright and clean, and has a huge variety of great toppings which u put on yourself. Rockies on the other hand is dark and dirty, and is not self serve. The first topping i chose got dumped on my yogurt to a point that left no room for anything else. The only plus i can think of is that rockies is cheap and u get lots. Anyway, if u want a good product at a nice place go to frugos; if u want half a gallon of decent yogurt for cheap in a greasy hole… well u get the idea lol.
There are so many yogurt options out there right now. This place is pricier than the others and the flavors are less than stellar. It’s the only self serve option in Whittier unfortunately. I prefer the flavors at Rockies on Whittier blvd. and Yogurtland is the best self serve chain.
What a great way to loose weight!. Store was bright clean and service was great with friendly smile. I will definitely visit again. This time I will bring my friends with me………………^^*
