Is it possible to be in love with a restaurant ?. I’ve grown up in the whittier area my whole life so i have to say I do know the in’s and outs of this place. I know whats good and whats not. Amachis is honestly the greatest hidden gem in Whittier if not LA county.! Its so small and might be difficult to find your first time but it is amazing X10.The service here is amazing and they bring you your food so fast. They start you off with a warm bowl of miso soup followed by your entre. I get the usual Chicken and tempura plate for dinner and it is amazing! This comes with White rice, chicken, tempura including 2 shrimps, and 3 vegies, and a small salad. The ranch they put on the salad is to die for, i always ask for extra. And this all comes and a surprising low price, around $8 per person. The restaurant has a home-ie feel to it and the ladies working there are so inviting. I’ve gone so much that the recognize me when I walk in the door and greet me like a friend. The combination of good, low priced food fast and friendly atmosphere keeps me coming back for more.I do warn you tho they are closed on mondays and closed everyday from 2-5 which is a little inconvenient but its worth the wait till 5! :)My top 3 resturants
