We LUV the food at Sa-Wooei! Absolutely fantastic!The restaurant itself is deceivingly odd however… The shape of a train car, it is randomly perched above the parking lot of a very questionable motel. (They serve take-out too, if you prefer.)Give it a try. You won’t regret it!
One of the best, if not the best, Thai in SF Bay. Don’t let the odd location and exterior look of this restaurant fool you (It’s in the middle of a parking lot of a strange motel and elevated as a 2nd floor restaurant.) but the food is excellent, authentic and very reasonably priced. My wife lived in Thailand for 8 years and this was the only place I brought her to in the Bay that she liked and said was authentic. I only wish it was closer to my home at the time 🙂 or I would have taken her their sooner/first.
