Good Food, decent price. Hard to believe the poster who had a poor dining experience was eating at Uncle Wongs. I’ve eaten there for years and never, ever had anything but good food. The prices are amazing, the staff friendly and helpful and the decor pleasant, modern and upscale for this area of San Pablo Avenue. The prices are surprisingly resonable, and if you live in the area, you’ll be overjoyed at having this place near by.
Bad chinese food & misleading ads. I just tried this place for the first time last night because of a flyer on my car. I ordered several items for take-out, and when I got there they had to re-package all the food because the portions for the prices on the flyer are smaller than regular orders. The ad did not mention that but I did mention the ad when ordering, and was annoyed at how long it took to repackage everything–wasting food, materials and my time. When I got the food home, it wasn’t even good, and the chow mein was ery greasy. Avoid this place.
