AMAZING BLT. I ordered a BLT on wheat and added a slice of american cheese on it. I have never had such a scrumptious sandwich in my life. The bacon was perfectly crispy and the produce was fresh. Paired with their divine crinkle cut fries with seasoned salt and RANCH MADE FROM SCRATCH. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Heavenly French Toast. Wow, I have lived in Elk Grove almost all of my life and just tried this place recently. Boy was I missing out! The cinnamon french toast was out of this world and the service was fast and friendly. I will be bringing my whole family back in the near future. Now I don’t have to drive all the way to Sacramento to have a great non-big-restaurant breakfast!

We like it.Of course the owners are our twin grand daughters and they do a great job.We live in Oregon, but when we travel to Sacramento our must stop is Mel Dog’s for breakfast and lunch.Krusty
A local mom and pop breakfast and lunch cafe, Mel Dog’s race car themed decor is sure to be a favorite with you kids. With chili omelets and manchaca breakfast burritos, it just my be a good breakfast destination for you too.
