Extremely rude! Like the food, hate the service. These guys recently messed up a fairly large order of ours. We called them back to inform them and asked how they were going to fix it. Their answer: we can re-cook it and charge you again. Royal Thai: I suggest to start making your customers feel special, your not the only Thai gig in town but by acting like it and not giving a crap about your customers you will continue to push former loyal customers like myself away. My favorite Thai place in Sacramento. I am a lover of Thai food, and have been to at least 15 other Thai restaurants throughout the Sacramento – some upon recommendation, and others just on a whim. Royal Thai is my favorite out of all of these. The food is delicious, and very reasonably priced. I love the fresh, crunchy veggies, and the great sauces with many of the dishes. The curry is also quite good, and we will generally buy at least one bowl to share with the table over rice.Ambiance is peaceful with a great interior decor. The staff is wonderfully friendly, as the place is family owned and operated. Great restaurant for a quick lunch, or for a family dinner!
Have eaten there several times and have always been impressed with quality and service.
Went to this place with my husband; decor was nice but the food was appauling. Chicken larb was very salty, BCC with brown sauce was nothing but over cooked pounded chicken breast with hoisen sause. It was chewy and dry, the Thai ice tea was watery and the appetizer was cooked in old oil! It is not likely that I will ever return.
The food wasn’t good and it’s very expensive for the quality. I won’t be going back!!!
