Horrible service and horrible food. I have no idea how this place has good reviews. I am Mexican and my wife is Italian….nothing about this places food is authentic. It’s all frozen and reheated or canned. Flavor is bland and minimal, not to mention way over priced! Ordered a Michelada and it was beer with hot sauce and salt. Asked for sour cream and was brought ranch. There was a hair in my daughters quesadilla and lipstick on my water glass. Our server came around minimally and seemed bothered when we asked for things. The food was bad as mentioned but instead of letting it go to waste we decided to take it home and feed it to the dogs. We asked for boxes and the waiter grabbed a box from another table that someone had left behind. Granted, I am sure it gets done regularly at other restaurants but to actually see it makes me cringe. Not to mention we saw the people at the other table, they had their hands all over it and it fell on the floor at one point which is why they didn’t use it! After reading other reviews about being overcharged, it made me wish I checked my bill. We spent $100 for 3 meals and 2 kids meals. The atmosphere is also weird. The art is nice but the mix of Dia De Los Muertos, Frida and the Mona Lisa are a little off. The lighting is dark and I don’t mean romantic dark. You are greeted with red walls and red lights with black and red curtains. Kind of like walking into a vampires lair.
