The I kea restaurant is located in the ikea furniture store. As you walked through the store looking at all if the cute rooms they have out together , you might find your self a little hungry. We’ll u ikea has you covered with a cafeteria style restaurant to help you regain your energy before you walk down stairs to start gathering your boxes and odds and ends that your have picked out in your up stairs adventure. As you enter the restaurant you can park your carts and pick up a trays and or a cart that hold many trays if you have a large party with you . As you slide along the rails the first thing you come to is desert . Chocolate cake and strawberry cakes and a few other selections . So we grabbed the chocolate cake ( $3.25) next you come to chicken salads and such and another case of wraps beagles with salmon and salmon plates . You them come to a section of hot food you can choose from Swedish meatballs , chicken meatballs , veggie meatballs, chicken tenders , and a half a slab of ribs . Fry’s, mashed potatoes and veggies are your side items . Before you pay the cashier there is a soup and salad satiation with drinks for kids like milk and juice boxes they also have Jared baby food with microwaves to heat it up in. For our selections today I chose the chicken meatballs with mashed potatoes and lingeberry sauce ($4.99)my husband got the Sweetish meatballs ($5.99) and my daughter got the ribs Fry’s and cornbread ($7.99) two fountain drinks and a milk. The chicken and sweetish tasted Like a meatballs you can get in a bag and cook in your oven (witch they do sell down stars in the food court before you leave the store ) and my daughters ribs were descent about what you expect out of $7.99 ribs . I can say I have payed more for the same or less quality of ribs in big chain restaurants , so for $7.99 they are not bad. Oh and the chocolate cake was very good . So over all I would say this is not a place (but you can if you want ) to say hay let’s go to ikea for lunch or dinner . But if you find yourself shopping it’s a good place to grab lunch or dinner. 🙂
