Best Indian in the Valley. We just moved to Encino and found this Indian restaurant by happenstance and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Hands down the best Indian food in the valley. Try the amazing Sea Bass Tandori, crispy on the outside and juicy fish on the inside – our favorite. Another is the Chicken Tika Masala. If you don’t know what everything is or know what you are in the mood for, don’t be afraid to ask. We have discovered some amazing new dishes upon the suggestion of our server (that is how we discovered the fish). It is not the most romantic place, but who cares – the food speaks for itself.

Great food, great atmosphere, amazing dining experience. I’ve been coming to Taj Mahal for about 4 years now. They recently added new dishes to the buffet menu and they are absolutely delectable. I didn’t think they could top their food until they added the new dishes. The people are great too. Very friendly and attentive staff. Out of five stars, i give it a six.
Great customer service too. they even bring our food in and set the table for us. always fresh and hot. we order from them once a week and they have a perfect record of quality and service.15 May, 2010Best indian food we have ever had!!! i will never order from another indian food restaurant again. they have truly spoiled us. the best best best best!!!!
We love It!. We come up here a couple of times a month and have done so for about 10 years. Great service & great food. We love it!
Great food but terrible customer service. They have great food but terrible service, both in the restaurant and for delivery. The manager is mean. Tonight we waited 1 hour, 50 minutes for the food to be delivered. When we called to ask about it after an hour of waiting, we were lied to and told that it was on its way. We called when the food got here to ask if we could pay part of the bill, since the food was barely warm. The manager yelled at us as if it was our fault they were too busy for the staff on hand.
