Had a huge family get together there and loved and totally enjoyed the outdoor venue. A lot less noise than being inside a building and much more interesting. Food is generous and tasty and drinks are superbly made.
Visited with work colleagues for a dinner. It has a fantastic outdoor eating area out back, make sure you come here when you can eat outside. The food is good, solid local Mexican. We had a good selection of meals at the table and every one enjoyed them. They do a really good mole sauce, so any mole dish will be a good bet.
Nice experience.. Sunday afternoon, the place was not crowded. The service was good, the food was very good, Queso Vega, Mole Chicken, Chicken with poblano sauce all very good. The drinks were good and washed down the chips with 3 different salsas. A pleasant afternoon with the family. The facility is very nice with water features and big screen TV tucked away so that football fans can get their fix without interrupting others dinning. We will be back, it is a wonderful place to unwind.
Overly rated. The atmosphere was great, but I can’t say the same for the food. Not at all authentic Mexican foodand beans from a can taste like a can, nice try.
Rip off, small portions, don’t go. We went there 11/16/12 for our birthdays. the waiter was very nice… attentive… sweet. the food was NOT good.. and totally double over priced. the margaritas were great though. food.. not good. i am a food snob.. i know good food.. small portions and not good and super expensive.deserts were small too. total rip off.atmosphere is amazing.. go there for drinks.. but no dinner. plus.. come on.. they were doing remodeling of a room and there was MAJOR hammering going on while we were eating. could that not wait till saturday???
One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The outdoor patio is really nice and the food was excellent.
Best margaritas in escondido, but food definitely not so amazing.
