The most AMAZING food EVER!!! The crawfish touffe was authentically awesome, the fried shrimp and oysters were addicting… I missed N’awlins food SO BAD and this was PERFECT! The service and staff were warm and friendly like only southern hospitality can be! Relaxing, happy atmosphere… Extremely clean… It’s been remodeled since the yellow cashiers desk … It’s beautiful and open like a lounge… My boyfriend and I were BLOWN AWAY tonight! Our only complaint was they were out of peach cobbler… Lol… But there was SO much to choose from for dessert we got over it fast! Thank you SO MUCH for the experience Chez Soul! You MUST eat here!
My first visit was today. Service was slow and horrible. We waited 1 hour for food. Found out later the waiter forgot to put our Order in. Will never go back.
Pleasantly Surprised!. This place was clean, the people were very courteous and the food was good! I am very picky when it comes to soul food and most of the time the restaurants are usually a hole in the wall that you can’t sit down and eat. This place is a soul food restaurant with class! The food took a little long but it was worth the wait.
The best soul food in the bay area!!!! Service is very friendly this placed is family ran and they treat their custmers like family as well!! Great place to eat I loved it so much I went back three times in one week so that should speak for it’s self
The food us delicious! I live in the Bay around a lot of soul food restaurants and I prefer Chez Soul. Excellent food, great service, and very clean. Nice family restaurant ran by a nice family. I highly recomend the catfish!
My time at this family restaraunt was very nice. The food was good, The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was calm. The night I went they had live music,it was a nice dinner. Only problem was the wait for the food, but it’s worth the wait
Food was good, but certainly not great. I went on a somewhat busy Friday night and waited almost an hour for the food. On the upside, the service is friendly and there is a pretty good selection of southern and Louisiana-style food.
