This is one of our favorite sushi joint besides Mikuni. As this closer to our house and the fact that it is right next to Palladio theaters and Pinkberry, we come here for a quick bite often. U have to come early on weekends as the wait can be long. We seldom order cooked plates. Almost always sushi. Only cooked stuff we ordered are mixed tempura or their Firecrackers for appetizer. This is a must-try! Few of the shush I we love are: Wild Fire, Jack’s special, Angel, honeydew, and many more. I will try and remember the names and I will update review. Staff are friendly. Bathroom is clean. I usually have my meal with a hot green tea!
Below mediocre sushi. Like seriously. It’s edible. But that’s just about it. I went there once. Wasn’t impressed but thought I should give them another try. The second time only confirmed and consolidated my first impression. Not going there again…. Sorry Blue Nami.
I’ve never seen a Rainbow Roll with as little fish. Except for a tiny smear of faint orange-pink mush, the Godzuki roll was fishless. Disappointing waste of money. MAJOR FAIL!
Steve. I love this place, Best Sushi in Folsom by far. Only criticism is they have started cutting back on the edamame appetizers they give you when you first sit down. And service is getting a bit slower , But we’ve already eaten there a dozen times and brought friends from out of town in there and they loved it as well.
Good food but bad service. I come every two weeks or so and every time I do, it gets more and more akward. Waiters do not check in and the tables are too close together
Good food, slow service. I like the layout of the dining area and sushi bar, I chose a table on this visit. I was there during happy hour. The place was virtually empty. I had two pf the house rolls. Both were well prepared and the presentation was nice. They gave me a large amount of wasabi which is a super bonus for me. Service was friendly but kind of slow. I never did get a refill on my ice tea.
While the food is good, the service has been terribly slow. Even when the restaurant has been less than half full.
