Second time to Chicago Fire, different location. We got the Greek fries, Caesar salad, and the cheese stuffed pizza (half BBQ and half traditional). The Greek fries were delicious! You need to love garlic though. Caesar salad was good. It took 50 minutes to get the pizza, which is just what our waiter told us so we appreciated the correct quote time. If you want to be faster, they said you can order ahead and basically have your pizza when you sit down. That’s a super nice feature! The pizza was good. The BBQ was really yummy. Traditional was good, too, just a little boring compared to the BBQ. The crust is interesting. It’s a pie crust, not the yeasty bread crust you’re used to, which is actually really yummy. Is this the most amazing pizza? Not in our opinion. However, it’s different, in a good way, so we would definitely come back.
Bad attitudes/Poor management. My wife and I went in for dinner a few weeks back at the Palladio location. The Server was initially prompt and attentive. As we were ordering a small child in the dining room started screaming- not ordinary crying or playing but screaming at the top of his lungs- the parents did nothing- we asked the server and then the manger to please ask the family to please try and quiet the child and/or step outside until the monster’s fit was over. The manager refused to do anything -stating this was a family restaurant and that there was nothing they could or would do to accomodate the of the rest of the customers in the dining room. Sad to say after many years of going to the old Folsom location we won’t be back. Do not go if you are over 15.
Very very loud place. No way to have any conversation at any table without shouting. Very long wait for a table too small for number of people in group. Able to get another table added to increase space to eat. Another long wait for pizza (thin) should not have taken that long. When food finally came the food was really poor quality. Never again.
Service. Would like to say that the management needs some people skills among how to treat and deal with customer’s. With that being said my family and I had to wait a while to get our pizza and the waitress only checked on us once. When we asked for a manager she came over and was not even concerned about the service we endured. In the interim we unfortunately will never go back there to dine because of the poor service and the quality of our food. Especially the disrespect of the upper management needs to really go back to school among customer relations!
Service sucks at Palladio. Good food but the service sucks – both at the bar and at the table. Very dissappointed. It was an early Monday evening for my son’s 16th birthday. Mom and I showed up early and actually sat for a few minutes at the bar before someone even came over (there were only 3-4 others). Ordered entire meal at once at the table and waited over 45 min for both pizzas (one deep dish and one thin crust). And to top it off, the restaurant charged for his birthday sundae (which is a first – most places give a free dessert on birthdays). I will not be a returning customer!
Haven’t ordered yet. Service SUCKS!
The service, food & atmosphere was great. I would recommend it! Have to try their Greek Fries!!
