Best Mexican food in the Folsom/Sacramento area! We eat there every chance we get!
Unsatisfactory!. We just ate at the Rosa Blanca in Folsom tonight. We got there and were surprised to see that there was only one other car there, so we figured service would be pretty quick.I had just received some coupons in the mail for Rosa Blanca and since we had never been, we decided we would go. The photo on front of the coupon had some wonderful looking quesadillas! I decided to get those. Well we waited awhile, and while we were waiting they served us cold chips, that tasted stale! Also the lady that had greeted us and the waiter were having several heated discussions, and arguing (in Spanish) but my family understands Spanish so it was quite unprofessional. I later received my quesadilla, it looked NOTHING like the photo!! It was such a small portion for such a big price, the put a little dab of lettuce, and maybe two little pieces of tomatoes on the lettuce. I will admit that the food was good, however we all went home still hungry.The waiter, and waitress stayed in the back most of the time, so we also had to wait quite awhile for refils. My family wont be going back!I may give 1 star because the food was good.
About the food. This is the worst non-authentic mexican food ive ever had. i have been here 4 times every time ive ordered a different dish. its been awful every time, i love mexican food, its the best type of food on the planet. but la rosa blanca is not good. it trastes like microwave food. go to la fiesta. its not the best but at least ill eat it
Great place. Service was AWESOME!!!! Food was AWESOME!!!! Owner came over and made sure everything was ok. Loved this place and will be back…..soon.
Amazed :). I was so impressed with the food, I had to share a review. The guacamole was fantastic, must try. We ordered Momma’s Chicken & the Carnitas Chimichanga, both dishes had amazing flavor. The chicken had a mild, sweet & spicy flavor & the carnitas tasted like they had been slow cooked in a wine sauce. Service was great, a nice family retaurant feel. I can’t wait to go back.
