  • We had a great dinner here. I got the macadamia nut crusted Chilean sea bass--best fish I've ever had. It's quite sweet, so be warned. I loved it, tho…

One of the best dishes ever….. Had dinner Sunday with friends at Land Ocean. We all had the spice rubbed steak. It was FANTASTIC. The service was good and we were allowed tastes of wine to help us which bottle to buy. We shared the banana cream pie which is huge and the apple pie. Both delicios. I loved the food. Only thing wrong is the bar stools are too high and the booth seats are toowide. Maybe just me. I’m short.

What a surprising experience. Our dinner was fabulous. They really know how to prepare their entrees. Excellent!!

Loved It!. I had the best time at Land Ocean a few weeks ago. I’m pretty picky when it comes to restaurants, and I don’t write reviews unless they’re really worthy. Seriously. The place itself is gorgeous. It really feels inviting. Everything we tried from apps to dessert was just spot on. I don’t know how they did it. All the dishes looked and tasted amazing. Our waitress was super kind, as was the manager who took my phone and charged it for me! We’ll be back…

Best lunch experience EVER – the ambiance was very enjoyable, the service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious!!! We had 6 in our party and everyone raved about the appetizers and their entries.

Great NY Steak!. I’m a little puzzled by the low approval rating as I liked virtually everything about LO. Sister restaurant to Sienna in EDH, they share the same sophisticated ambiance though LO’s is more steakhouse with it’s darker lighting and plush booths. The artichoke appetizer was a little small but very tasty with a hint of cinnamon to spice things up. The Caesar Salad dressing was great but please Restaurant Owners, stop with the wedge salads. They may look great but since I’m the one paying I don’t want to do the work of cutting it up. The NY Steak was fabulous! Aged, cooked to perfection and as tasty as any steak I’ve had. The side smashed mashed potatoes were pretty good also. The menu is somewhat limited but if the steak is any indication, they do the entrees well. I would recommend and repeat.

We were welcomed by a calm relaxing restaurant we much appreciated. The food was great and more modern. We ordered: the cheese bread, the blackened ahi tuna and portobello burger. The taste was great, our server was willow (she’s great) food appearance, timing and tempature were all wonderful. The dessert was great! (banana creme pie) We will return 🙂

We decided to try LO for lunch and order a wide variety to get a good feel for the place. The tenderloin wellingtons were a great start to the meal, just needed to be salted. Then came the soups…the french onion was not great (we try it everywhere that has it, and even cook it at home so are well versed.) The clam chowder was excellent…smoky and rich, big winner. Onto the entrees…the prime rib au jus was delicious. The combination of the herbed bun, gruyere and prime rib was very flavorful, just fantastic. And it comes with shoestring fries, a mix of sweet potato and regular potato, which makes for a nice contrast. The ahi tuna poke has a peanutty sauce, it was good but definitely should be shared, it gets to be too much for just one person. It’s a lot of ahi and very rich! And finally, the macaroni and cheese – it was decent, it has nutmeg in it which makes for an interesting flavor, but definitely not your comfort food mac. The ambiance is excellent, loved the decor and the light above each table cast a nice glow on the well presented food. We’ll look forward to checking this place out for dinner!
