I came here with my daughter for brunch. I had chicken and waffles and they were great. It comes with syrup and country gravy so you can go in a couple different directions with it. They have a lot of variety on their menu and I will be back.
Their Spicy Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich is really good (although not spicy at all) and so is their Cobb Salad. They’re also famous for their Bloody Marys. I tried their Raspberry Cheesecake alcoholic beverage and FYI, it tastes nothing like raspberry cheesecake. It’s a convenient stop for bikers coming down Salmon Falls Rd.
The Gem of El Dorado Hills. Best food in town, friendliest staff. I would eat here every day if my waistline could afford it! Love the fish tacos and the Heirloom Panini. The ribs are the best–the meat just falls off the bone. Favorite Breakfast item? Definitely the Salmon Eggs Benedict. You won’t find a better Hollandaise sauce in the Sac area.
Best dive bar located in a good part of town. You can take the family for lunch and/or meet some friends for a drink. The food is good. Try the nachos with a friend or two.
Great time, great tasty food. Too much food to be exact. Chicken Fried Steak a must have, but come hungry. The food is well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back for the next meal.
Just not impressed. Very down home, and was known for it’s breakfasts and as a sports bar venue. But it just hasn’t done enough for me after 3 times to make me want to go back. Decor cheap, food marginal. What more can I say…
