If this is the best sushi in Folsom I’d hate to try the worst! Rolls were sloppily prepared and barely held together. Sushi rice was way too sweet. The fish portions were huge and pretty good so I may come back for the sashimi.
First time there and just the start of going back repeated times. Wayne has a phenomenal sushi restaurant with warm, welcoming environment, attentive staff and quality food you jut can’t pass. Their new intern sushi chef, Jordan, makes a killer spider roll, best anywhere in Sacramento. The nigiri is also just exceptional on its own, wonderful presentation, great taste and I want more. Sorry other sushi joints, but my buisness and money are going to Taiko!

I was also given a to go cup of water and was told to let them know if there was anything else I would like. I had the house specialty roll. It was delicous and fresh. I will definitely return to try more.
The food may be good. But the service is lousy. It has already taken us over an hour to get our rolls in a nearly empty restaurant. Our drinks haven’t been refilled and as I write this I am seriously thinking of walking out. The service here is not worth the food. All the chefs and waiters do is stand around, talk, and ignore their guests.
This is my favorite restaurant of all time. They have a great happy hour from 2 to 5 and 8 til closing, monday through friday. Its buy one roll and get the other for a dollar. They also have great customer service.
I love this place. So many great choices great service and very sanitary. $2off during happy hour which is a great deal. Great place and easy on the wallet!
Great sushi for those on a budget, and rolls are $2 off during happy hour. This is my go-to place when I want sushi cheap and fast with a friendly staff.
