I love the black rooster! The employee’s are very friendly and the coffee is great. Also if you get a chance, GET THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE! I am officially hooked. They are the best I have ever had. This is definitely a favorite!
Truly a gem along historic Sutter Street in historic Folsom! I’ve eaten here four times over the past five months, and only recently had one minor, negative experience. (I ordered something on a kind of bread that was much too hard for my liking, but the insides of the sandwich were delicious.) The Rooster is quaint, and maybe a bit small if you hope to have an intimate conversation, but the food, including gelato and coffee drinks, is outstanding. Friendly service, decent parking unless it’s during the summer tourist season, and nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
