The House of Chili Hamburgers and HotdogsThe original location at the corner of Beverly and Rampart is an iconic L.A. landmark, which put hotdogs and hamburgers slathered in chili on the culinary map. This location is open 24 hours and is the perfect late-night treat. Ask for the double cheeseburgers, with everything on it (mustard, chopped raw onions, slices of dill pickles, a thick slab of steak tomato, and of course; chili). Get the chili fries topped with cheese as well, and order your favorite soda for good measure – everything goes into a foldable cardboard box, and proceed to wolf them down on one of the ledges. Heaven!

Best chili in the world. I don’t know what they put in their chili…..and I really don’t care. The chili is like none other. The hamburgers are served hot and fresh with melted cheese, a very thick sliced tomato, two pickles, fresh chopped onions, and of course mouth watering chili. I always order the chili cheese fries as well. You cannot find a better chili burger……anywhere. Just make sure you get enough napkins 🙂 Oh yeah, they also serve Mr. Pibb (my favorite).
Not the original location but good. You don’t get the atmosphere of the original location but the chili burgers are made just the same – greasy, cheesy, gut bombs of love
