Melt in your mouth beef, if there is such a thing. You think you your taste buds and tummy are happy from Korean BBQ? Give this place a try and you may never turn back. Some Korean BBQ AYCE places are quantity of quality. Here at Tsuruhashi, their cuts of meet are so tender they practically just melt in your mouth. All their cuts of meat, especially the Kobe are all spot on, all worth a perfect marble. It is indeed pricey, but a good treat now and then. Mon-Thurs they offer a deal called a ‘family set’ that is a combination of various cuts of meat and veggies. This set is limited so get there early and don’t be shy to ask. Staff is very attentive and have never been unhappy with the service there, even when they are extremely busy. We had to cut back on how often we were going because it was really adding up. We will be back soon!!!!!
Superb Japanese BBQ. I’ve been to a lot of Korean BBQs, but not too many Japanese BBQs. The concept is very similar — order up a bunch of raw meat and grill it up to your liking right at your table — and as far as I can tell, the only significant difference is in the sides. Still, Tsuruhasi simply blows away any other Japanese or Koren BBQ joint I’ve ever been to. My favorite cut is the Kobe Boneless Short Rib (which isn’t exactly cheap), but there are a ton of different cuts to choose from. Depending on your choice of meat, your meal can go from fairly inexpensive to pretty spendy in a hurry. I typically spend about $50 per person per visit.Tsuruhasi is a very small, but extremely popular place, so if you come on a weekend night, be prepared to wait. Service is usually fast and friendly. Parking is never an issue, as the restaurant is located in a fairly large strip mall with plentiful parking. And as is the norm for any grill-at-the-table BBQ joint, you’ll come out smelling a bit smokey. So to summarize: Food = Superb Service = Excellent Price = Fair Parking = Excellent Overall Dining Experience = Excellent
