Truly Authentic Mexican Food. My husband and I have been to Cuca’s three times in the past two weeks. The chili verde and chili colorado are fantasctic! Today we ordered the chili relleno and we could not get enough. We drive from Clovis to the Tower Disctrct just to enjoy Cuca’s wonderful food and great service.
Just another so-so restaurant. We went recently. The service was just so-so. it was fairly busy & there was only one server, so we all had patience & understanding for that, but he wasn’t remotely warm or friendly. If things are going to move slowly because you’re busy, at least make us feel our business is wanted & welcomed. Still, I can & do overlook mediocre service. I’m less forgiving of mediocre food. We had all had different entrees, but they were all bland. This is definitely bland, Americanized Mexican food. Bummer. I had been before so knew what to expect but my husband had never been & was curious. He was underwhelmed, too, so we’ll only go back in a true pinch.
Excellent service and food. A great place to spend the evening. I can’t wait until we can go again.
Keep Looking. I really wanted Cuca’s to be good. Its pretty nice inside, went in for lunch, the special combo plate and a drink was like $12 which I thought was too much to spend on lunch…. I don’t wanna be rude, but if a restaurant is using hard pre-formed taco shells like taco bell, it should not be allowed to use the word ‘authentic’. It was still good, not great, and for $12 I’ll keep looking…
Not the best Mexican food in the tower. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.

DOWNTOWN is real Mexican food. I prefer the downtown location, but the Tower is good too. Cocido, Chili Colorado, tacos. Consistantly great food.
