Gross. The Mango Lassie was from a can. The Naan was bready and microwaved. The Tandoori Chicken was offensive. I asked for spicy. It came smothered in red sauce. I asked the waitress what was on the chicken and she said it was ketchup and hot sauce mixed together. Texas style Tandoori? It was gross. Everything we had came out of the kitchen not how it was described on the menu. The wait staff looked like they wanted to just go home.

The best Indian food I’ve had in Fresno yet. Kind of pricey but got it to go and it was enough for two people for 3 days! If you like Indian food you should try this place!

Best Indian food in town. EVERY THING IS GOOD On this menu! This place has me addicted to Indian food! I go twice a week! Can’t go wrong with the Chicken Bhuna!!!!!!!!!!!!! And bottles of wine are half off! I’ll be so upset if this restaurant goes out of business because I am addicted! TRY IT!!!

I tried the buffet on a Tuesday @ 1145. Got there before the rush. The goat curry was excellent! It was also boneless. Butter chicken was very good. Shahi Paneer (an unusual buffet item) was really nice. The aloo ghobi was great, heavier on the cauliflower rather than the potatoes, and moist (this was better than most IMO). The red chili carrot pickle was freshly (for a pickle) made and delicious. There was a red chili sauce that looked almost like salsa, but a little pink with flecks of green. I think it has saffron in it. This was a perfect way to increase the heat of dishes and add an exotic tang to them. The Garlic naan was good, as was the raita. Over all a great meal for $11 with a soft drink which was replenished speedily by the waiting staff. The quality of the ingredients was very high and the flavor was more authentic than North India Bar and Grill. There were more items, but I wrote about the ones I remember best. I am not a big fan of sweets, so I cannot comment.

It’s decent Indian. Not as authentically flavorful as other Indian restaurants I’ve tried. It will satisfy your craving, but for a true Indian experience, your better off somewhere else.

Good tasty Indian Food. I just love Indian food. It has moved up to my number one spot in ethnic foods. I judge an Indian restaurant by several items: How is the naan? What does the rice taste like? My standard dishes are Chicken tikka masala, sag paneer, and Chana masala. I generally compare restaurants by these very standard items.I went here at 8:15 on a Thursday night. It was mostly full with people that were finishing their dinner. I was given a table in the back fairly fast. My waitress seemed to forget about me for almost ten minutes. I already knew that I would be getting one of my standard dishes. The wait staff started to clear the other tables before taking my order. I finally got her attention and placed my order.I ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and rice. Their rice was a bit plain. The garlic naan was pretty good. The chicken tikka masala was very good. It had a great taste. All of the food was served hot and pretty fast about 10 minutes after I placed my order. I think this place is just a little bit below North India which I think is the best Indian food in the Fresno area. I will try some more dishes in the lunch time buffet and rank this place later. I think this restaurant is better than a lot of other places in town. I definitely like it and recommend that you try it out. The waitress said they are about five months old at mid January 2011.I went back on a weekend and had the buffet. Some items were great some were just ok. Overall the buffet earned about a C+ grade so I will stick to the regular menu.
