This was my very first experience with Ethiopian and Kenyan cuisines, and I thoroughly loved the food! I ordered from their vegetarian entree section and selected four items to go with the injera (their traditional fermented bread):1. KyeSir & Dinish: this beetroot and jalapeno salad mix was an interesting combination in pink2. Matoke Mix: a Kenyan plantain mix (delicious!)3. Figili: zucchini and celery preparation in Kenyan style4. Miser Wat: Ethiopian-style lentils cooked in berbere sauce (spicy)Ambiance: The restaurant transports one to an African home with traditional decor, hand-woven upholstery and intricately patterned hats and table runners.Service: We had to wait for a while before somebody handed us the menus. Then after more waiting, the owner explained the food to us. Even though the service was quite slow, the food more than made up for it. oindrilade.com

Enjoyed the lamb and veges very much. The red lentils were just spicy enough and very tasty. Eating with hands was fun and different. Very friendly service.

Wow. What a different experience. Looking for something different, this is it. The lamb was great and the veggie choices are excellent. The gentleman was eager to help us and explain the menu. You have to try this place.

First time trying Ethiopian food. Coffee is really strong. Food is really good. Would definitely come back to try lunch specials.
