Among the best Indian Foods in The World. Having been spoiled from the great Indian Food from London, San Francisco, LA, I really did not have my hopes up when I came recently to visit my family in Fresno. That was until I went to India’s Oven. My family and I were a group of six, and when we went to the restaurant there were few other tables as well. We were greeted by our server and were accommodated quickly. My family and I ordered, the Afgani Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Vegetable Samsosa, Fish Pakora for appetizers, and for Dinner we ordered, Butter Chicken, Dal (Lentils), Sagg Paneer, Garlic Naan, Yogurt, and for dessert we got Gulab Jamun. From the first bite and onwards my family and I were just blown away. The spices were right on the mark, and everything tasted authentic. I mean having tasted Indian Food around the world, India’s Oven instantly became my top picks. The decoration was amazing and high end classy look to it. In addition they have a Bar which is just gorgeous, with the hand carved details the bar puts the final touches on the already beautiful restaurant. In closing I loved the food, and though i have read the reviews below, I think you should not judge India’s Oven from the those review since, the recently remodeled, so instead go and try it yourself, because I Know once you tried India’s Oven you will want to come back, because I Know I will.

Awesome…I loved it. I am a very going person. I loved to dine in and try out new things. Recently my wife and I was going on Ashlan and Marks and my eyes got a glimpse of a Indian Resturant baring the logo Authentic Indian Cuisine. Going by I thought should I go or not, and that decision was a turning point for me. I made a u turn and before I knew it, I was standing inside. The decor was nice, not the nicest I have seen put it had a home like ambience to it. I was greeted by the waiter and was shown my seat. The waiter handed me a menu and poured me a glass of water. As I was drinking water I noticed the waiter bring out a order of papad (spiced lentil wafers) and along with a red tamarind and a green mint chutney (sauces). I was like I didn’t order that, the waiter replied, sir it is complimentary this is free of charge. That moment I was awestruck like wow, first time a restaurant providing a complimentary starter. As I started to enjoy my papad I looked the menu which was so easy to read, the dish was followed with a brief description of what was added to the dish. For starters my wife and I ordered the samsosa, ( a fritter filled with lightly spiced potatoes and peas), Fish pakora (fried fish dipped into a batter with spices), and I can’t forget the mango lassi. Waiting for my order I started to look around and I saw this empty space. I called the waiter and asked what is this, the waiter replied it is our banquet hall and it has a 150 – 200 people capacity. I was like thats a decent place and space to throw a get to together, birthday or something that sort. After about 10 minutes our starters were served. Immediately my wife and I noticed the delicious smell and dived into our food. Our first bite was like a variety of flavors bursting into our mouths. The food was so delicious and the mango lassi was the best I had drank (sorry North India). Then we ordered dinner. For dinner we ordered Butter Chicken, 2 garlic naans (bread), Dal Makani (Lentils) and raita (yogurt). Waiting for our dinner, we were entertained with indian music and a television providing some visual entertainment. About 15 minutes later we were given dinner plates and served. Everything smelled delicious. I started with a piece of naan, a serving of butter chicken and lentils. As i started to eat the butter chicken just melted in my mouth. It was so good you just have to try it and the dal and the naan was good. The Yogurt was good. My wife also said it was really good. After dinner we ordered Rasmalia (homemade sweetened cottage cheese with milk) for dessert. This was so good. In the end we asked for a check and the bill was modest and the portion we also some point I think they need improve is the bathrooms, and a bigger television other than that it is good. In closing I would like to say India’s Oven is the best Indian restaurant to dine in, which is modestly priced, and gives great service, ambiance, and most importantly great food which is so good you just have to try it to find out. Great Job Guys, Jack Johnson
