Poor service ruined preconcert dinner!. With the Audra McDonald concert at 8:00, we arrived at Joe’s at 6:30, thinking an hour should be sufficient for dinner. When no one came to our table, we realized service might be slow. So we found our waitress, gave her our full order and told her of our concert schedule. We repeatedly reminded her that we were concerned about their slow pace. When salads did not arrive until 7:10, we knew we were in trouble. At 7:30, after one hour of waiting and still no dinner, we walked out, only paying for our salads and vowing toNEVER RETURN. What a disappointment!
YUCK!. Time to take a business 101 class. Questionable understanding of how to provide customer service.
TERRIBLE!!. We had a party of 6 for dinner this past Tuesday before going to a concert. The food was terrible! We sent 2 meals back because they were cold and we could have sent them all back, Meat was not cooked as ordered – med came our rare – only had 5 baked potatoes-potatoes had a funny taste, did not eat them.When you are paying $30 for a meal you expect better.Would not eat there or recommend them at all!!I emailed Joe’s and have not gotten a response-I guess they don’t care.
Great food great family owned business. $5 lunch sprcials and buffet are the best downtown. I go there at least once a week and really enjoy when they have live music and wine tasting. It has a country theme to it and people that run it are always friendly. Highly recommend
Not a great joint, but if you are stuck downtown where there is nothing – it’s your only choice. O can only imagine that it was a Dennys, they brought in bad wood and cowboy effects. Good service, buy lacks imagination on the menu. 3 of 5 stars
HAPPY 4TH ANNIVERSARY. I have gone there many times over the years. Great buffet with lots of amazing variety. The family owners do a great job. I sit at the counter as I have many times. Daily $5 lunch specials with fast friendly service. This places is like Cheers on TV where they know your name. Great hamburgers, too!!
JOE’S STEAK HOUSE & GRILL. Simply the best! I’ve tried several steak houses in Fresno and Joe’s Steak House is the ONLY one where they cook my steak as I request. I’ve tried their Buffet also, they have a large selection and the desserts are always so good. This is one restaurant where once you eat there, you’ll keep going back for more!!
