Kuali – Indonesian Restaurant. I have lived in Indonesia. My wife was born there. We enjoyed Kuali. The food is as authentic as any other Indonesian restaurant we have tried in northern California. Try the Sate Ayam (chicken skewers) – delicious! For a drink, try Es Kelapa Muda. It’s pieces of fresh coconut in lightly sweetened coconut milk (tinted red for some reason). The spicy fried rice and fried noodles are wonderfully hot. Kuali means wok in Bahasa Indonesia.
