Hidden Gem. Me and my wif just went for our twelveth anniversary dinner. First time there, and I have to say, that might have been the best steak I have ever had. The ribeye was amazing., The service was great. The waitress, Kaylynn was absolutely perfect. Hidden in the corner of a little strip mall, this place should not be missed. Puts the chain steakhouses to shame. Check it out.
Very good. I just went to a business Christmas party there in mid december. We had a choice of three items. I picked the NY steak and it was very good. The restaurant is a very nice elegant place for a great steak dinner. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I would recommend when you want a great dinning experience in Fresno.I would have to disagree with Matt from SLC. This place appealed to me and I am mid forties–not 80

This place may be appealing to if your 80+ years old. True the bar has a large variety of alcohol but the food sucks. So as the other reviewers stated, visit the bar for a bottle of your favorite vodka, or such, prior to eating! There are many places to get a great meal at a more affordable price than the Manhattan.
Fresno Gem. ABSOLUTELY love this place! The service is wonderful, the owners are clearly in love with what they have created. It’s a bit pricey, and we would probably only go for special occasions… but we’ll definitely be back! If you like a good cocktail.. ask for the Lunchbox, or their signature Tangerine Cosmopolitan… I’m still craving another cosmo!!!
Character!. Recently Fresno has seen a multitude of chain steakhouses open up. If you are looking for a standard meal that you have had before go to one of them. If you are looking for character and a special dining experience the Manhattan is the place. I recommend getting there early to enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine at the bar. With its mirror backing and tremendous bottle selection it makes for a stunning visual. Retire to the dining area to enjoy a perfectly cooked steak of your choice done a number of ways and just to your liking. There are always a few fish options and poultry as well. Whatever suits your fancy. You will probably notice owners Dave and Karyn walking around making sure everything is perfect and everyone is enjoying themselves. They symbolize the style and character of this tried and true steakhouse in Fresno, a handcrafted restaurant amongst the mass produced others.
Making you feel welcome. Manhatten has to be one of the friendliest restaurants in the city. Dave and Kathy Milutinovich go out of their way to know youl Add to that a good menu and this is always a great evening out. I sometimes wish the menu would change more often. With the frequency of visits, ordering basically the same thing each time gets a little boring. Great bar.
