Probably the best and most consistent Italian restaurant in Fresno. Amazing homemade red sauce and great veal entres. The food isn’t cheap, but cheap and quality rarely exist. Overall, the experience and quality justify the price and the food is prepared by true Italian chefs.

Great Italian restuarant, best in Fresno!
Disappointing. We used to visit Ovidios in the ’90s before moving and, at that time, it was one of the best Italian eateries in Fresno. Now we’ve moved back to the area and tried Ovidios again. So disappointing. The resaturant was empty yet the tables were still dirty. They didn’t warm the bread and the sodas were flat. The meal itself – eh. It didn’t taste as fresh as it used to. It was a small step up from the new higher end frozen entrees you can find now. Definitely not worth the money. We won’t return – and it’s a shame.
Pretty good. Like I’ve said in other reviews, Italian food all tastes the same to me, unless their red sauce tastes jar poured…like Luna’s or Michaelangelo’s. This place was expensive for what you get but the service was great. The bread was good, the salad good, and PEPSI products–which I love. I’ll go back.
Restaurant.com friendly. Ovidio’s is great and to top it off — they accept coupons from restaurant.com which makes them that much more affordable, especially if you want to host a banquet.
