New Partnership with Painted Table. As of July 6th 2013 The Painted Table has taken over the bistro’s menus, Service and Bar. Look for some amazing food, classic and interesting cocktails and of course our fabulous wine selection from around the world. We have grown our Beer list as well…. come on down to The Painted Table and Pinot Bar Bistro! You will not be disappointed. Make sure you say hello to Chefs Rod and Jer when you come by. We always love to see our clients and meet our customers.
Good food, servers not so much. Early dinner with the wife. The grilled cheese was great and the fish tacos were excellent. Unfortunately the servers didn’t seem to know much about wine. A bit of a downer for a wine bar.
What happened?. I have heard good things about this place and invited a few friends to join me for dinner. The waitress left us sitting at our table for twenty minutes and then failed to return for another twenty after we ordered. The place wasn’t that busy and we didn’t special order so I am not sure what happened. So disappointing when you want to enjoy the night out and the service stinks. The owner should be more aware of what his staff is doing. I never understand the mentality of the tower restaurants and then they whine no one comes down to the area!
My fave in the Tower. I love to drop in at Pinot before any event in the Tower or Downtown. The food is always excellent, prices are reasonable, and servers are friendly and helpful (and not put off by my warped sense of humor).My ideal meal consists of a cheese board, Man Pinotage, and creme brulee. I never leave other than fulfilled. Keep up the good work!
Affordable and sophisticated. Terrific selection of wines and an unusual list of imported beers. Tapas are first rate. Atmosphere lovely, intimate and inviting. Really nice experience.
