The Blackstone Cook Needs To Be Let Go!Sonic is known for their large drink selection and drinks is what they do best. The food is mediocre at best but a few night’s ago (11/28/15 @ 7:15 p.m.) against my better judgement, I ordered a combo meal. Along with my 32oz Cherry-Limeade, I had the crispy chicken sandwich with the addition of American cheese and a medium tater-tot. Big mistake. The crispy chicken patty was cold and the ciabatta bun was even colder. When delivered, my sandwich was missing the cheese and as I was discovering the missing ingredient, the server comes out to the car and tells me the cook forgot to put cheese on the sandwich. She then proceeded to give me a bag containing a single cold slice of American cheese. I was going to tell the server to take my meal back and tell the cook this customer actually wants some fresh food but I’m hesitant to send any meal back with a complaint, as the cook just might be ticked off enough for being called out for his/her laziness and spit on the food or worse. The better move would’ve been to give the entire bag of foodstuff back and get a refund. However, my daughter was with me and ordered something entirely different (cheeseburger) and was fine with her meal. I have to also mention that the tater tots were lukewarm and saturated in oil. The only redeeming thing about this eating experience was my Cherry-Limeade had the right balance of artificial cherry flavoring and lime soda. From now on, I’ll stick to the half-off price drinks from 2-5 p.m. daily. No more nasty Sonic food for me at the Blackstone location.

NEVER going here. I ordered an ice cream with cookie dough (whatever they call them) and there were THREE (3) pieces of cookie dough…and the rest just plain ol’ soft serve. I went back because I ordered 2 and paid over $3 for each and wanted my money back. The manager and all other staff were soooo rude and arrogant that I will never go back. Don’t waste your time. Nothing special about this place, unless you want contention.
