My favorite food place, has been for years. Good food and they give you a lot for your money. Its family owned and family is kind. My favorite items on the menu are the paper wrapped chicken, teriyaki chicken, and the chicken chowmein. I’ve never, nor my family who have eaten here for years have ever had an issue her….and I do mean years. I do recommend !!
Possibly the worst Chinese in Fresno. I may have eaten worse Chinese at some point in the past, but I honestly can’t remember when or where. I recently moved into the neighborhood near Sunrise Kitchen and loving Chinese food I immediately walked there for a meal. I ordered a combo plate (pork chow mein, fried rice and egg roll). What I got was a couple of hunks of fatty pork on top of a mound of greasy noodles and the blandest, driest rice I’ve ever eaten. As for the egg roll, it was ok but nothing special. It appeared to be similar to the little frozen ones you can buy at any store in a box. For the first time ever I only took a few bites and then pushed my plate aside, paid my bill and walked out. I’ll never go back.

Wouldn’t eat there again. Sorry, I just didn’t like their cooking. Beef broccoli tasted like it had canned gravy. Mushy egg rolls. Wish I could support this local restaurant — Sunnyside has very few nice ones.
A lot of bang for your buck. Large portions of great food, most entrees are under $6, love the orange chicken

Great Food. I lived near the restaurant for some years and the food was always geat.I was a loyal customer for 17. Now I miss it .We moved out of state to Austin TX and the taste of the Chinese food out here are not the same.Every time I go back to visit,that is the one restaurant I look forward to go out to eat.Always great taste.
