I have no idea why the similar negative reviews. I go to vino 2-3 time per month and have had nothing but a great experience. The whole staff and a couple of times the owner has been very informative on wines and what I might like to try.Including samples and tips. Food is very good. The other reviews must be friends and an off night. Gary
One bad experience and will never go back. They forgot about us after our appetizers. Waited for more than 40 minutes for entrees before they figured out our entree order was never put in. Went home hungry. 🙁
Vino and UNFRIENDLY. Took a trip back in time tonight while at a dinner meeting with a great friend, and experienced some of the most BLATANT discrimination that I think I have ever experienced in my almost 38 years of life. As as we have progressed and achieved as a collective people where race, creed, and color should no longer be the determining factor as to whether or not you are treated with the same level of respect as the person next to you, and the person next to them, and so on and so forth…it’s disheartening to know that some establishments obviously failed in wrapping their brains around that logical and humane concept. Thanks for the reality check Vino and Friends. I will now avoid you like the plague.
Friendly and welcoming. The wine choice is good for all ranges, you can buy by half glass, full glass or bottle. Excellent service. Food is good and there are choices to go with whatever you are drinking. Beer is also on tap for those who prefer.
Missed opportunity. The food was creative and excellent; the wait staff friendly and well informed. The owners were working in the dining area on their computers, which distracted from the ambiance of the place. There were only a few diners there; the owners missed a great opportunity to chat with them about their new venture, and create an interest in returning again. With so many excellent and unigue places to eat in Fresno, I doubt I will return to Vino 100 any time soon.
