First time to visit. From outside and inside appearance not a typical restaurant we would stop to eat. However, we just had to try based on the Yelp reviews and also we have never had Salvadorian food so we just had to stop in. Yes the food was obviously all made from scratch (except the chips for the salsa) as the reviews states. You can watch them cook your meal right in front of you. From the flavors bursting in your mouth obviously all was made from fresh ripe ingredients. The place was very busy, tables full and to-go orders rushing out, but we still felt very warm and welcomed like you were at your mama’s kitchen. Food was unfamiliar and unsure of the eating protocol such as what went on what, but we chowed down regardless. Employees were friendly & accommodating, food was fair priced, excellent plate presentation, and the flavors were soooo good. We will be back to try more.
