I wanted to like it.. I love finding good little breakfast spots so I really wanted to like Kimmies. We tried the Brea location 3 times – struck out each time. We even gave the Placentia location a try. Very disappointing. The food was less than average – my eggs were cold. Service was not good – sometimes we would get a decent waitress who was nice, but it seems like she is sooooo overworked, that the attention she gave was very limited. But most of the time, we got waitresses that just kind of grunted and ran off.The wait on the weekends are very long, the food is poor to average, the service is wanting. I was sad, because I really wanted to like it.

I always order the southern fried chicken salad. Their salads are massive and so good. My only complaint is that i wish they were open for dinner too.
