I was heading to The Bruery and wanted a bite to eat beforehand. I yelped and this place was located a few blocks from Dunn Way. Perfect!! Located off State College and Orangethorpe, with a Subway sandwich, a Tattoo place, and a cell phone repair company is this tiny mom n pop place, tucked in the corner of the strip mall. First off, remember to check in on yelp to get a discount. I forgot to check in until after I paid, and well, that was too late. The menu is pretty simple, and the bowls and plates are meat, rice with /without veggies and no fillers for a decent price.Based on the photos I saw on yelp, I went with a simple chicken and veg bowl, brown rice (extra cost I think), and requested no carrots and no broccoli (so cabbage only) and it came out exactly how I wanted it. Karen got the same but with white rice. Total for 2 bowls and 2 sodas came to under $17.The place closes at 7:30 pm, so it’s not open late. Decent amount of parking, but I can see that it could get busy during lunchtime. callmemochelle.com
