Not only chicken tacos…. Been coming to Josie’s place for over 30 yrs, when i was a kid, tacos were like 35 cents though haha. Anyways, they were famous for the chicken tacos, but i love their beef taquitos with a scoop of guac, sour cream and pico de gallo and their carnitas and carne asada soft tacos are great too. Weekends they have menudo and posole, the red kind with chunks of pork, delicious. Another favorite of mine is their large tamale fix, they break up their huge tamale and put a little red sauce on top, it’s great. They used to deep fry their tacos with their red hot sauce and it was great, but i guess if you don’t live near there it would get soggy and people complained, so they stopped doing that and put it on the side. It’s not the same deliciousness, but it’s still good. I like burnt tortilla, josies and ramona’s are still my 3 favorite in gardena for mexican food.
