  California Pizza Kitchen is a lovely place to indulge yourself. You have a variety of entrees, pizzas and pastas to chose from. I especially recommend the Jamaican Jerk chicken pizza or the roasted chicken pizza. The desserts will make you come back to this place over and over again. I recommend the Buttercake with Haagen-Dazs on the side. The service is great and the ambience is amazing. You’ll love this place.Service 5/5Food 4.5/5Cost 4/5

  CPKs New Decor & Improved Menu -I love the original barbecue chicken pizza and wickedly good chicken tequila pasta, however the kitchen now serves steaks and seafood dishes created by chef Brian Sullivan, senior vice president of culinary development. Try the new lobster flat bread, before living it up with a 10-ounce ribeye steak sprinkled generously with homemade pinot noir sea salt. The steak tenderizes for 24 hours before being grilled and served with a dollop of creamy bleu cheese butter, delicious crispy roasted fingerling potatoes sprinkled with sea salt and an arugula salad. The price is half of what is charged down the street at Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak. It also is more tender and flavorful. The hearth-roasted white halibut is served on a bed of crunchy farro with baby kale and grilled asparagus. They also prepare a cedar-plank salmon.New soups include a new baked potato variety with bacon, and a farmers market soup with squash, other vegetables and a touch of cream.The seasonal California field salad has sweet watermelon and slices of strawberries with mixed greens, a sprinkling of feta cheese, California pistachios and housemade Champagne vinaigrette dressing. Guests can add grilled chicken, shrimp or sauted salmon to the salad.Of course, California Pizza Kitchen still offers a variety of pastas and hearth-baked pizzas made with a hand-tossed crust. There are 19 varieties of pizza, including Jamaican jerk chicken and roasted artichoke. I still enjoy the pear and Gorgonzola thin crust pizza with a salad on top.Additionally, the new tricolore salad is made atop a crisp flatbread with caramelized onions and large shavings of parmesan cheese a pizza and salad on one plate with greens tossed in Dijon balsamic dressing.Save room for a .99 cent kids sundae (if you bring a child and order off the Children’s menu) or the salted caramel pudding. The chocolate souffl cake with a scoop of Vanilla Haagen Dazs ice cream is always a crowd pleaser for chocolate lovers.   California pizza kitchen has the slowest waiters in the world. Order drinks, wait thirty minutes. Order food wait forty five. Good food.. Sometimes. But still.
