For a taste of Spain, dine at Casa Cordoba in Montrose, CA. Enjoy delicious homemade food in an idyllic Moorish courtyard, or tastefully decorated rooms with tiled floors and tables. My favorite meal so far is the chicken and chorizo paella, flavorfully spiced, but not fiery. Its comfort food at its best. The olives are out-of-this-world. The breads are wonderful, warm and fresh, and the artichoke, marvelously dressed. All the salad dressings are made with sherry vinegar from Jerez, Spain. My friend found hers so yummy that she felt like drinking it. Guitar serenades, although recorded, sound like the real thing, and together with a boutique, containing ceramics and glassware from various regions of Spain, add to the inviting ambiance of this fine new restaurant.
