GAuchos Villagge , as the name sounds , so is the foood here , loved the chicken hearts here which were stuffed with a great filling , couldn’t find anymore details on the same though
We went on a night where they had performances so the atmosphere was great. When the servers come with skewers of meat, It’s a little hard to hear them say what type of meat it is. I would come back only if they have a groupon deal again. Otherwise, it’s a little too pricy to go again just for the experience/atmosphere
Happy customer. Gauchos Village is an amazing place to take your family. Food is amazing. It is a nice place, but over priced. Management needs to consider that specially now days.
Definitely over-priced. I could care less about the music, it’s the food that interests me!I loved this type of restaurant in Brazil. I could eat at one every day of my life, and never get tired of it.But it only costs about $10 per person in Rio.$40 a person is too much here. $20 would be reasonable.
Quality matters, not Quantity. I have been to GV for several years (before they moved and when they had the yellow chairs.) We went last night and short and sweet: meat quality is definitely not what it used to be; although the music is nice, I really missed the full band they used to have and more than two samba dancers; the buffet was good but where’s the manjioca and bananas fritas? Service was great, I must say. I am half Brazilian, have lived in Brazil, and took my 75 y/o Brazilian mother for the 1st time last night. She loved it, (she had the buffet only.) GV is quickly losing its place at the top of our list of churrascarias, but not off altogether. The only thing that keeps it in the top 5 is the overall ambiance (beautiful!) and experience. But we are on the lookout for a replacement. After all, for the $$$, the food must be top quality, esp. the meat. That’s what the authentic churrascaria prides itself on; not just the quantity of meats, but the quality is essential. (p.s.: just say no! to the photo, no matter how beautiful it is at the time, it is super low quality. shame on GV for allowing its patrons to be ripped off for $15, like my sweet little ol’ mom who fell for it. Your cell phone pix will be much higher quality and free!)
The food is good. It is pricey 40 a person. Keep in mind this is a buffet all kinds of meet and they have Brazilian dancers. Enjoy if u have$$$$
